內容簡介：本書共分四編：第一編、針科學講義，計分二十六節，概述針術之起源與鑄造形式及應用、古今針法與今後應取的途徑、針後之處置與生理的變化；第二編、灸科學講義，計分三十節，概述灸的起源與各種灸法、艾灸前後的處置、艾灸對生理的影響、實施方法與宜忌；第三編、經穴學講義，計分三章，詳述經穴之定義與經穴學上部位骨度、全身經穴部位主治取法應用、經外奇穴的取法及應用方法；第四編、為針灸治療學講義，分正續兩編，四十二門，介紹了各種疾病的治療方法。現有1946∼1954年中國針灸學研究社鉛印本。
承澹盦為周左宇老師的第三位針灸老師，在四川重慶拜於第三老師承澹盦先生門下，承師為當時名震四方的針灸大師。

飛蚊症，視網膜剝離，嚴重程度約眼睛前是一整片黑霧，這個用針灸可以醫，我大概針在髮際跟眉毛的正中間，膽經連線上，那邊是阿毛流幾何醫學針灸眼睛的地方。平補平瀉。針一次大概可以好轉三成，針兩次可好轉五成。這已算是進步的挺快。
